Delete Your Data or Account
This page explains how to delete your data for Impetus — an AI coaching app for ADHD and a product of CTF Designs. You can delete specific data while keeping your account, or delete your entire account.
Delete some or all of your data (keep your account)
In the app, anytime: open any task, note, or Stored Info item and tap Delete to remove it. To disconnect Google and revoke its access, go to Settings.
By request: email info@getimpetus.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my data," and tell us what to delete (specific items, or all of it). We confirm it's you and delete it while keeping your account active.
Delete your entire account
- Email us at info@getimpetus.app from the email address associated with your Impetus account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my account."
- We confirm the request is yours (via your account email) and permanently delete your account and associated data. We'll reply to confirm when it's done.
You can also delete individual tasks and data inside the app at any time. This page covers full account deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity (email, and any linked Apple or Google login)
- All of your tasks, chat messages, notes, and focus sessions
- Your profile and onboarding details, and any energy readings and reminder preferences
- Anything you saved to Stored Info
- Any Google authorization you connected — the access tokens are revoked. (Note: your Gmail and Calendar content is never stored in our database in the first place; it is used only to answer a request and then discarded.)
What we keep, and for how long
- We delete your account and personal data from our live systems within 30 days of your verified request.
- Residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.
- After that we retain nothing, except the minimum we are legally required to keep (for example, records needed to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations) where applicable.
